Why do people write off The Cleveland Indians as contenders?

I looked at some of the stupid posts on past questions regarding the Indians. Their starting pitching was called pathetic-in reality it is completely solid. The bullpen is the key spot-but I think vast improvement was made. The offense is tops in the A.L. without question-the starting pitching is in the top 3-4 easily. If the bullpen comes together I don’t see any reason they don’t make a run. As far as Minnesota and Chicago-as an Indians fan I have no concerns with the Twins-and the Indians proved last year they can play with Chicago. Detroit is the puzzler-can those guys repeat career years-will pressure of defending the A.L. Central be too much. Consider this–NOBODY considered Detroit contenders last year-how is it that Cleveland who won 93 games in 2005 can’t be considered this year??? More talent for sure.
